Joan Armatrading is currently on her last major world tour. After 42 years in the music business, her last is also her very first solo one. For almost two hours, Joan will hold the stage, playing her hits like ‘Love And Affection’, ‘Me Myself I’, ‘Drop The Pilot’, ‘Willow’ and many more. Her talent will be on full display as the multi-instrumentalist utilizes various guitars (and playing techniques) and a piano to share the highlights of the last four decades.

Joan’s performance reminds us once again why she became the first female UK artist to debut at Number 1 in the Billboard Blues chart in 2007 as well as being the first ever female UK artist to be nominated for a Grammy Award in the blues category. Add to that her win of the Ivor Novello, Basca Gold Badge and her MBE, and you’re left with only one word to describe her…impressive!

‘I will never retire but this will be the last major tour that I will undertake. For the first time these concerts will be me solo on stage playing the guitar and piano and singing. I want these concerts to be a special lively interactive one to one experience. I have absolutely enjoyed the last 42 years of performances but now, with my final major tour, I want to capture a unique memory for both myself and the audience.’ – Joan Armatrading

The current tour kicked off in South Africa in April this year. With nearly every show to date a complete sellout, it sees Joan Armatrading on the road until the end of  2015. It also encompasses the UK, Australia, North America, Germany, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, New Zealand and more concerts in  South Africa,.
