The Everyman Panto for 2026 is Jack and the Beanstalk, running from Thursday 3 December 2026 to Sunday 10 January 2027 at The Everyman on MacCurtain Street. It is presented with CADA and directed once again by Catherine Mahon-Buckley, who has been behind the Everyman panto for close to three decades.
The Everyman panto is the smaller, more traditional of the two big family shows in the city, and a lot of Cork families swear by it. Expect magic beans, giant adventures and a cast of familiar faces, with plenty of local jokes thrown in.
The cast
- Fionula Linehan as Dame Peggy Twomey
- Conor O’Cuinn as Jack
- Caoimhe de Brún as Jill
- Graham McDermott-Wood as Moo de Cow
- Paul Ryder as Baron de Rude
- Andrew Lane as Chad GPT
More casting is still to be announced.
