Cork-based pharma consulting firm Business Platforms is gearing up for a big expansion, adding 75 new jobs and doubling its team by 2028.
Founded in 2019 by Paul Browne, Phillip Doyle and Liam O’Riordan, the company works with more than half of the world’s top 20 pharma firms, specialising in manufacturing execution systems (MES), serialisation, supply chain and digital transformation.
The new roles will be in consulting and engineering, with more graduates joining through its MES engineer programme. The firm is also expanding its Cork HQ to fit the growing team.
Industry veteran Joe Lyons has come on board as general manager, bringing over 20 years’ experience in MES and pharma manufacturing. He says the growth is driven by rising demand for specialist consulting and a commitment to investing in talent and innovation.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin welcomed the news, calling it a boost for Ireland’s pharma sector and proof of Cork’s world-class expertise.
