Big Country was established in 1981 by founding members Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson, both hailing from Dunfermline, Scotland, the band’s hometown.
The band achieved global success with their iconic singles ‘Fields of Fire,’ ‘Chance,’ and their signature track ‘In A Big Country.’ These hits propelled The Crossing album to sell over 2 million copies and earned the band three Grammy nominations in the United States.
