Lisa O’Neill started writing songs and music at an early age in her native Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan, Ireland. She moved to Dublin, aged 18, to study music on a full time basis. Early on she was welcomed into the folk and traditional scene in pubs and venues around the city where her singular voice, witty lyrics and observations on modern Irish life gained her popularity and set her apart as a unique talent.
Peter Broderick is an American born multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. He has released solo material under his own name, been a member of Efterklang, and played with several ensembles as a session musician. His latest album and first full-length for Bella Union in three years, had a rather odd conception to say the least. He went along for the ride when invited for a so-called “recording residency” in the small town of Lucerne, Switzerland which developed into a cerebral and memorable recording experience producing Colours Of The Night.
Lisa and Peter take to the Live At St. Luke’s stage on December 19th for a very special double headline concert with support from Cork’s Luke O’Neill also known as Damsel.
Seating is allocated on a first come first served basis but there is a seat for everyone in the house!
Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
