Daithí is an Irish producer and multi-instrumentalist renowned for his ability to merge organic sounds, intricate electronic textures, and his signature fiddle, creating emotionally resonant music. His breakthrough single Mary Keane’s Introduction and the critically acclaimed album L.O.S.S. helped solidify his place as a key figure in the Irish electronica scene, earning him a Choice Music Prize nomination and a reputation for his captivating live performances.
After taking a two-year break to focus on his solo journey, Daithí is set to return in 2025 with Valentine—a lush, Italo Disco-inspired track that came to life after spending a month immersed in Japan’s intimate record bars—and Ferry2Aran, a sweeping homage to transformative travel. Both singles serve as a glimpse into his upcoming album, slated for release later this year.
In addition to his work as a performer, Daithí has made a name for himself as a composer for film. His score for Lakelands earned an IFTA nomination, and his work on Christy—directed by Brendan Canty—won the Grand Prix at the Berlinale 2024.
On stage, Daithí delivers a dynamic live show featuring live drums from collaborator Alex Ridley, synthesizers, drum machines, and, of course, his fiddle. With special guest vocalists joining him, his performance becomes an immersive blend of rhythm and melody, transforming the dancefloor into a cinematic experience.
