Mardyke Entertainment Complex

Address: Sheares St, Centre, Cork, T12 CX7A, Ireland

The Mardyke Entertainment Complex is an expansive, all-in-one leisure destination situated in a historic, listed limestone building in Cork City Centre. The structure, built between 1873 and 1875, originally served as the warehouses for the famous Woodford Bourne and Co. wine merchants before being converted into an entertainment venue over the past 40 years. Spanning over 30,000 square feet, the complex is home to three major brands: the Mardyke Bowl (tenpin bowling, pool, snooker, ping pong), the Woolshed Baa & Grill (an international sports bar), and Barcadia (a retro arcade with a kitchen and bar), along with InFlight Sociable Darts (Ireland’s first interactive darts system) and karaoke stations.

The complex is a premier spot for groups, offering varied activities, bars, and food services under one roof. Guests can enjoy food from the award-winning Holy Smoke Kitchen (specializing in pit-smoked BBQ and burgers) and an extensive drinks menu featuring craft beers and specialty cocktails. Beyond the main attractions, the venue hosts almost daily entertainment, including a regular Thursday Pub Quiz. The Mardyke is a versatile location perfect for everything from casual social outings and family fun to large corporate bookings and private events in its dedicated M2 space.
