The restaurant’s name is inspired by a rumour that the bakery was nicknamed “The Glass Curtain” in the sixties due to its progressive glass walling architecture. The establishment aims to honour this legacy by creating delicious food, with a philosophy rooted in a love of flavour and working with top-class, local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients sourced from Cork’s champion farmers, growers, and producers.

Flavour is their “holy grail,” and their menu is designed for sharing, encouraging guests to enjoy a selection of dishes cooked with care, some “kissed with a little flame.” They offer a sample sharing à la carte menu, as well as seasonal tasting menus (including a vegetarian option) and a “Family Style” sharing menu for large groups.
