STEPHEN DOOLEY, whose goal downed Dundalk for a third time this season, says that Cork City will have to re-group after the summer break in a bid to compensate for the loss of skipper Johnny Dunleavy to a knee injury.
The Ballybofey man has had to write off the rest of the season after jarring his knee on the training ground and he faces an eight-month recovery process.
“Johnny (Dunleavy) is the team captain, he’s a brilliant lad and if he’s not in the team, we are not as good. He drives everyone on and he’s a great person in the dressing room. He’s a great player so obviously when you take a good player out of the team, you are going to suffer a bit,” said Dooley.
