If you want to escape the madding crowds in Cork city over Christmas (or any time for that matter) and would like to combine a nice walk with a fascinating exhibition then Cork City’s Museum’s exhibition in Fitzgerald’s Park is worth a visit.
The museum is located in Fitzgerald’s park and what is is so attractive about it is its compactness and quality of exhibition all in one spot. It has had a 10,000 sq/ft extension in recent years allowing the museum to showcase exhibitions of this size and provide a pleasing modern viewing experience for visitors.
They are currently showing two exhibitions under one roof related to World Ware One and with free admission why not take a stroll up there during the Christmas break.
Admission is free and the exhibition runs till September 2015.
